Cielito Lindo Family Music is sure to delight audiences of all ages!

Cielito Lindo is a bilingual family band based in Chicago. This family of nine have seven children ages 4 to 15 who sing and perform music, and present workshops and shows at libraries, schools, private parties and public events, such as the Old Town School of Folk Music, Square Roots Festival, the Chicago Bulls, Navy Pier, WGN, The Land of Nod and more! Featured on local PBS favorite Chicago Tonight, Univision, WGN and FOX, this family entertains and engages with their music, as well as inspires with their story of raising seven creative children and moving their family cross-country from New Mexico to Chicago. Adults of all ages also love to sing and danceā€”as well as pick up helpful tips on encouraging music and the arts in their own homes! Performances are tailored to your audience needs.

What a wonderful morning of music with this talented family! Our patrons had a fantastic time dancing along and enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the musical instruments. As soon as the performance was over, patrons were asking us to have them back!'s picture

I can't talk about this group without raving - and neither can my patrons! My patrons are still talking about Cielito Lindo's performance for our Dia de los Ninos program. They were on time, extremely professional, poised, well-mannered, and this family has TALENT. Their show is unlike any I've ever booked, with a truly interactive structure for both the children in the band and attending the program. Each child performer got a chance in the spotlight to highlight who they are and what they like. It's so wonderful to have a bilingual group engage with my bilingual community. My patrons were all singing along to traditional Mexican/Latin American songs, and were charmed by the fun addition of a Weezer song and Coco's "Un Poco Loco". Add in my favorite song of their's, "No Tortillas" and you've got gold. BOOK THEM!'s picture

We actually didn't find them through here...we stumbled across them another way but loved them so much we ended up engaging them again a month later when our Day of the Dead performer flaked and we needed someone to fill in in short notice. They were so accommodating and fantastic all over again. The family is as nice as can be and very talented (every member!) They are very interactive with the audience and charismatic; everyone was charmed. I also really loved how a little bit of music education and family backstory was incorporated throughout in a subtle and interesting way even for the youngest kids without ever feeling too lecture-y. We will absolutely hire them again.'s picture

I had heard a lot of good things about Cielito Lindo and they certainly did not disappoint. They performed for us on a dreary, rainy day but a sizable crowd still came out to see them perform at the Thomas Hughes Children's Library. The whole family has impressive singing and musical abilities and they performed a really nicely balanced set that included traditional songs as well as familiar favorites such as La Bamba. They really had the audience dancing and moving and they grabbed the attention of people who were just passing by. I appreciated that they were so engaging with the audience and spoke to parents about the importance of exploring the arts at home and how it's impacted their family. Aside from their really fun and memorable musical performance, the whole family was just great to work with. I would very enthusiastically welcome them back for a return performance!
