I am a Creative Educator who specializes in Storytelling, Creative Dramatics & Performing Arts.
I enjoy enthusiastically sharing interactive stories. I specialize in a variety of literary genres -- multicultural tales, classic fairy/folk tales, poetry and picture books.
I incorporate creative dramatic techniques and improvised methods in my presentations to enhance my storytelling style.
As a Creative Dramatic instructor, I teach classes to several age groups, from Preschool to High School students. I like to inspire an interest in the dramatic arts from a very young age and I enjoy seeing where my inspiration takes them as they grow.
My passion is to bring characters to life. I regularly portray historic character roles for the classroom, school assemblies, libraries, bookstores, and festivals. My portrayal of Rosa Parks at an elementary school’s Martin Luther King celebration was realistic and captivating. In addition to my portrayal of Rosa Parks, every year I conceived, wrote and directed a different aspect of Dr. King’s story for the school.
I am always interested in spinning my tales to anyone and everyone who is attentive for a great story!

Lucia was an outstanding storyteller as part of our Enchanted Library program over the summer. She had reign of a program room for the two-hour event, during which time she enthralled audiences of all ages as they moved in and out of her room and other stations. Her storytelling was very animated and participatory, making it a hit of the program.
