T-Rexplorer's goal is to get kids excited about science and nature and we do this by running interactive programs with authentic dinosaur bones. Who doesn't love dinosaurs! And it's not like the museums, with T-Rexplorers kids can touch nearly everything in our collection! Programs are really fun, have great humor and our former libraries agree, T-Rexplorers is the program to book! Our standard program is 1 hour in length, plus we stay for up to 30 minutes after the program for people to come up and see any fossils they weren't able to during the program, take pictures, etc. The price is $395.00. We offer added incentives for booking outside of the summer months, contact us for details!
We are consistently adding to our collection so no program is exactly the same! NEW!!! We are now offering interactive 30-minute Virtual Dinosaur Adventure programs for $200. Contact us for details!
We had David and Trish do a virtual program for our library recently and were very pleased. They kept the kids interested and gave them plenty of opportunities to join in the action (through movements, questions, etc.). I do love their in-person program, but was happy to see that it translated well on the screen for our patrons. Very recommended!
I was so happy to hear that T-Rexplorers had created a virtual program! Virtual Dinosaur Adventures with T-Rexplorers was well-attended via Zoom. The interactive nature of this fun program keeps the children focused. David and Trish are great with the kids, which helps them feel comfortable asking questions at the end. This was really a fantastic program--I highly recommend it!
I'm posting another review, because we had him out again this year. The kids loved it! It is no small miracle to keep a large crowd of mostly preschoolers entertained for over an hour, and the kids were totally enraptured the whole time. Excellent communication ahead of time, quick set up and tear down, and a very friendly and professional demeanor. Highly recommended.
T-Rexplorers are always amazing presenters and wonderful to work with! Kids and adults loved their program and were super excited to meet T-Rex Ranger in the parking lot before the program. Communication was great and I would highly recommend them to any library!
Excellent show. We had a very small crowd (we are a small library) and he still gave as passionate a presentation as if he were in front of an entire school auditorium. Highly recommended.
I can't say enough great things about T-Rexplorers. David really engages the kids and gives such great information. The kids, parents and staff loved being able to touch real dinosaurs bones, teeth and etc. David and Trish are very easy to work with and I will be inviting them back. Seriously, kids of all ages will love this!
T-Rexplorers just visited our library for the third time! I can always expect a fantastic program with Dave holding the children's attention every second! The families are awestruck by the many, many fossils that Dave has in his collection. Both a very educational presentation and just some fascinating fun, he matches the age levels of his audience. The show is very hands-on and Dave knows his stuff! He has a passion for dinosaurs which communicates itself to those around him. His assistants do a great job and his booking agent is awesome too! I also love the fact that as he continually goes out on digs, his shows never repeat themselves. I have known him for a quite a few years and his program has been wonderful from the beginning. I would not hesitate to highly recommend him!
Kids and adults enjoyed a presentation (geared toward 5 years and up) that incorporated humor, extensive knowledge, and audience interaction. Dave's love for paleontology is evident and it was fun to see enthusiastic young dinosaur fans interacting with him. All of the fossils are authentic and Dave shares stories about where/how/when he found them, which adds to the appeal.
T-Rexplorers presented a wonderfully fun program! The fossils were interesting and the kids loved being able to touch and hold all of them. The presenters were very informed and it was so awesome to see some of the children in Elgin name specific dinosaurs and be able to interact. The kids were in a for a big surprise when they brought out an animatronic T-Rex! I would definitely hire them again for a future program!
T-REXplorers was a great addition to our summer reading program. Dave has a great rapport with his audience. All ages were fully engaged in his presentation and he interacted and responded to the children’s observations and statements very well. Patrons and their families were all entertained. I’ve already had requests for another show. I highly recommend this program. It was easily set up with Trish and Dave was so relaxed and professional the day of the event, everyone was able to enjoy the afternoon. I’m so happy T-REXplorers was our first family event of the summer it set the mood very well for the next several weeks.
Our library just hosted this program this past weekend. It was wonderful. The children were awed by the displays that Dave brings, it is a very educational presentation and Dave designs his program around the age level of the children in the audience. He is very interactive with the children allowing them to handle many of his treasured items that he obtained on dinosaur digs. I have known him for a quite a few years and his program has grown to A+ rating. He now has a life size interactive dinosuar named Ranger that the children feel in love it. After his visit the children are still talking about their dinosuar experience at our library. We look forward to having him again in the future.
I would highly recommend T-Rexplorers. I have had them at my library twice now, and both times they did a fantastic job. They are always on time, and very professional. They come with two people, one to speak to attendees and one to pass around all of the cool dinosaur relics. The feel of the show is very intimate. With the speaker sitting on a milk crate and kids on the floor all around him, it almost mimics a real-life dig. The presenters make sure everyone's questions are answered, and that attendees get to see all of the fossils they want to see before everything is packed up.
