Miss Jamie from the Farm is planting seeds through song! Miss Jamie takes young kids and their families on an imaginative musical adventure to her "farm," where they learn values like hard work, healthy eating, and being kind to animals and each other. The storytelling music show runs 45 minutes long and is best suited for preschool age children; although babies and even kids up to age 8 will love the singing, dancing, and farmyard fun.
We had a big crowd and she didn't disappoint! She brought a lot of energy and we received excellent feedback afterwards from our patrons.
Miss Jamie was easy to work with from the paperwork through the performance. The show was very interactive, and it was clear that Miss Jamie was able to tailor her interactions to suit the audience in the room.
We love Miss Jamie! Our library hosted her "Miss Jamie on the Farm" show for a preschool family show. The audience enjoyed the interactive songs, using the shaker eggs, and the animal puppets. Jamie is a pleasure to work with and we cannot wait to have her back!
Jamie presented her wonderful program last Summer at our library. She works wonderful with the children, does a great job interacting with the kids and can hold a captive audience through the program. Great songs, great background display. Her songs are fun, and definately teach the children about farm animal friends and how important they are, and most of all to respect all living creatures. Very pleasant to work with! We are having her back again this year!!
We hosted Miss Jamie for a kids and family concert this spring. Her performance drew a big crowd of both library regulars and some of her "farmhand" fans. She was engaging and enthusiastic and got the kids and adults bopping. Her high energy performance of the story of Miss Jamie's farm incorporates puppets, a "big book," and plenty of upbeat and educational songs. I regularly use a truncated version of her Shaker Eggs song in storytime! The show also features a solid healthy eating message - great for summer. She was very easy to work with and prompt in her communications. I would not hesitate to bring her back to my library.
