Are you looking for a truly memorable and inspiring science presentation that both kids and their families will love? How about letting participants in on the action by creating their own slime, riding a hovercraft or touching live critters? Your kids are sure to laugh, learn and remember a program from The Science Alliance! Our science team includes three fabulous presenters... our founder Bill Bosworth, Scott Douglas and Steve Schindler!
You can choose from SEVEN different science library programs! Each presentation is available as an interactive program (with no limits on the number of attendees) or a hands-on workshop for all participants (limited to no more than 50 kids).
Choose from the following options - your participants can:
... explore matter and chemical reactions hands-on in Close Encounters of the Chemical Kind!
... get up close and personal with live reptiles (and a few amphibians!) in Reptomania!
... investigate physics, complete with hovercraft rides for some lucky volunteers, in Lights, Camera, Action!
... explore and care for the earth in the environmental World Works!
... see wings and things in Bugs, Beetles & Bookworms!
... get charged up about electricity in ZAP!
... learn the best ways to care for their bodies in Get Hip to Health!
All of our programs are interactive and use many kid volunteers throughout! Visit our website or facebook page for more info! Or, give us a call!
We would love to work with you and your patrons to help grow their enthusiasm for all things science! Thank you in advance for your consideration and dedication to science learning!
We had the Close Encounters of a Chemical Kind during the summer last year. Bill was great! Despite the giant crowd (170 people), every single child in the room was able to participate in some way. It was very chaotic, but the program was a huge success and the kids and parents loved it!
Science Alliance brought their entomology program - Bugs, Beetles, and Bookworms - to Geneva. I've come across many live animal presentations but this is the only one featuring live bugs that I'm aware of. The presenter was professional, knowledgeable, and prepared. There were several live specimens and the children and adults who wanted to touched and held the insects. A fun and informative program for kids (5 +) and adults.
